The Korean transportation association in America (KOTAA) is a membership association consisting principally of Korean and Korean-American transportation industry professionals, college and university professors and graduate students teaching or studying transportation engineering and other transportation-related subjects. The membership is open to all transportation industry professionals, university professors and graduate students teaching or studying transportation engineering and other transportation-related subjects.      The principal purpose of KOTAA is to further the cause of research in the transportation engineering field, by providing fellowships to enable students to present scholarly papers at national meetings of transportation engineers, and to promote and encourage student participation in KOTAA and TRB activities. KOTAA meets annually concurrent with the meeting of the Transportation Research Board(TRB).
